With our children now grown and scattered across the globe, we sold our Los Angeles home and traded it in for the moment, for a less encumbered, simpler existence, free to go anywhere without having to worry if the pool guy came by.

Now existing as houseless vagabonds, whether we are towing our home behind us, or whether our home is floating in the ocean, "Wherever we go, there we are" encapsulates that no matter how far we travel, we cannot escape ourselves.  It is a reminder to exist in the present and be grateful for its gifts, and this blog is a chronicle of our attempts at doing so.
